3 to 4 Month Gut Health plan

Change slowly so that your digestive system can adjust and support you

If you are keen on a specific Gut Health bundles

I am happy to connect with you and discuss what products I recommend trying first depending on your budget

Introduction

DIY, Supermarket, Premium

First thing in the morning

I use specific products. You can still get the same from other sources. Here are the principles to incorporate:

  • Line the stomach with fat/oil

  • Collagen, bone broth, collagen supplement etc

  • Warm drink like Tea that has cooled down

Allergies

Please always see a doctor. Allergies are serious and can be life threatening

my korero is based on having seen an allergy specialist at Greenlane hopsital. I myself am not a specialist. This korero is shared because everyone can benefit from prioritising lower stress, better diet and eating habits

Month One - Cleanse the digestive system

  • Probiotic - Buy a probiotic to help populate your stomach and intestines with the good bacteria it needs to help digestion

  • Fibre - Take a regular gentle fibre product to keep the encrusted food and tartar moving through your colon

  • Greens - Add greens to your drink, yoghurt or smoothie. This will again move food and waste through your digestive system.

  • Magnesium - this will help you sleep, relax muscle tension, help your digestive system to relax and therefore also contract better

  • Drink 2 Litres of water a day plus a warm cup of tea or water first thing in the morning.

Give your body one month to get used to this cleanse. You may have sloppy poos at first because thats alot of new movement in your gut.

Allow the gut to let the probiotics populate in your stomach. Don't change anything else in your diet, except to have 2L of water.

Month Two - Continue the cleanse plus Collagen supplements

  1. Lubricate and moisturise. Take these first thing in the morning then wait 20 minutes

  • Now that your stomach is used to the above, you can add more nutrients.

  • The focus this month is add collagen and fats to allow your puku to absorb more 'moisturizers' and heal

  • Start with just the morning, take your collagen dose plus fats. I use liquid Collagen from Modere and Shape as my source of CLA great fats including Condroitin and Hyaluronic Acid

  1. Next cleanse and take your Probiotic, fibre, greens and magnesium mix plus your warm drink

  1. Eat whatever you want for the day!

  2. Start adding in fermented kai to your diet. Kimchi, saurkraut, rotten korn, yoghurts, kefir drinks, kombucha

Month Three - Increase your Collagen Supplements to twice a day

Repeat Step 1 above both in the morning and at night 2 hours after dinner and before bed. Don't repeat the Cleanse step though.

Month Four - Repeat everything above and now you can start thinking about changing your diet

Now that your stomach is nicely moisturised, your gut fauna is established and you're regular on the toilet - you can think about making changes to your diet and training. Your stomach is strong enough to handle the stress of change.

Kai Products to buy

Start with fermented kai and bone broths. Really, most of our supplements should come from our kai as it is more bioavailable (easy for body to absorb)

  • Keep the water from boil up and drink it, with the fat bones

  • Make bone broth - Here is my favourite Youtube Gut Health account and his recipe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ijINiL4H64

  • Sauerkraut - it's basically cabbage that has been fermented in a jar

  • Kimchi - korean recipe, fermented vegestables

  • Rotten Corn - fermented corn

  • Coconut oil, olive oil, flax seed

  • Aloe Vera plant - use a cheese grater to scrape the gel, then add it to juice and drink it

  • Kale, spinach, sprouts, microgreens

Or Supermarket supplements

  • Collagen Products such as Dose and Co. You will need two types and have twice a day at least. Again double check the concentration. Collagen is expensive in general

  • Powdered Green stuff that has chlorella, spirulina, kale etc. You can just put whole green leaves in to smoothies and you'll also get the fibre

  • Magnesium - although supermarket brands are often low in concentration and you can end up having to take them for longer and buy more. Always check the dosage before you buy

  • Probiotics - You can buy them on the shelf in capsule form. Again check the dosage. Probiotics are often expensive regardless of where you buy. So make sure you get the best dosage and strains

Or Premium Products

I use Modere products, USA made and sold from Australia and NZ. I use these as I am able to get good concentrations, they have smart recipes. But most of all I benefit financially because I share a link to others. I get paid which I then use to buy my products. I was spending this much at the supermarket anyway, so I'd rather buy where I can work to get my supplements free.

If you take this route the specific products I use are in the first stages of a gut reset are:

  • Fiber plus Probiotic

  • Phytogreens

  • Magnesium Powder

  • Skin - Collagen, Hyaluronic acid + Condroitin

  • Shape - CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid - fatty stuff good for keto, plus Collagen and Hyaluronic acid)

  • Aloe Vera

Here is a link to see these products direct, if you're interested ( I would start with just the Fiber, Greens, Magnesium and Collagen Skin at first) https://modere.io/EC4xAq

I'll put the videos and keep them up to date x
