Sheriff Lamb referenced his time living in Panama in 1989 and 1990, when his family resided there during the U.S. military operation to remove Manuel Noriega. At just 17 years old, he witnessed the realities of American intervention up close.
That experience framed his response to recent footage coming out of Venezuela.
The contrast was clear. The operation authorized under President Donald Trump was carried out with precision. Entry under the cover of darkness. Minimal casualties. A defined objective. No prolonged engagement.
By comparison, the Panama operation resulted in the loss of 23 American service members. The Venezuela action demonstrated how disciplined leadership, clarity of mission, and restraint can protect American lives while still achieving results.

When asked whether this type of action aligns with MAGA principles, Sheriff Lamb acknowledged the divide within the conservative movement.
