Coaching Agreement
COACHING AGREEMENT
The services to be provided by the coach to the client are coaching, whether in-person or online, as designed jointly with the client. Coaching, which is not advice, therapy or counseling, may address specific personal projects, business successes, or general conditions in the client’s life or profession.
Other coaching services include values clarification, brainstorming, identifying plans of action, and examining models of operating in life, asking clarifying questions, and making empowering requests.
Upon completion of the duration of this coaching relationship, coaching can convert to a month-to-month basis, unless other arrangements are made prior to that date.
THE POWER IS YOURS
Throughout the working relationship, the coach will engage in direct and personal conversations. The client can count on the coach to be honest and straightforward in asking questions and making requests.
The client understands that the power of the coaching relationship can only be granted by the client, and the client agrees to do just that - have the coaching relationship to be powerful.
If the client believes the coaching is not working as desired, the client will communicate and take action to return the power to the coaching relationship.
CANCELLATION
The client and coach agree to provide one another with a 14 day notice in the event a cancellation is requested.
Cancellation fees apply, and will include fees covering the remainder of the coaching sessions agreed to, or $500, whichever amount is smaller.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Upgrade You Academy Inc. promises the client that all information provided to the corporation and to the coach will be kept strictly confidential. In the case that we would like to share your information, our discussion, or results, we would seek written permission from the client.
We do reserve the right to act if we feel for the client's safety or those around them are in jeopardy.
COMMUNICATION
As a coaching client, Rigel Jones is your main point of contact. Rigel may assign a different point of contact in the event of her absence or a non-coaching related manner.
The primary method of contact for Rigel is via email (rigel@upgradeyou.co).
Please understand that sending messages via Instagram, Facebook Messenger, or Text does not guarantee a response as we do not utilize those methods as business related correspondence unless otherwise agreed previously in writing.
Rigel Jones does not usually accept unscheduled phone calls but feel free to leave a voicemail, and she will return your call in a timely manner.
REFERRALS
We love and appreciate referrals. With the personal nature of coaching, being referred is one of the greatest compliments we could receive from our clients. If the client refers someone and they enter into The Uprgrade Method Agreement, client will receive $350 CAD via cheque or e-transfer.
